  27 March> Gerda Teljeur in last leg of Into Irish Drawing touring exhibition, curated by Arno Kramer. Exhibition features 22 artists including Alice Maher, Gary Coyle, Nick Miller and Jim Savage, and has been presented in Limerick City Gallery of Art, Aktuele Kunst Hengelo in The Netherlands, Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris and Millenium Court Arts Centre in Portadown, Northern Ireland.

  5 July> Bennie Reilly wins Iontas award. Bennie Reilly has received the Iontas award for 2007. Iontas National Small Works Art Exhibition takes place every 2 years in the Sligo Arts Gallery. This is its 17th year. It is open submission for all professional artists. All works must not exceed 600mm in their greatest dimentions. This year Iontas is curated by Michael Dempsey.
